Graduate School
One of the consistent questions I get is what to do about graduate school. I get this question from freshmen in undergrad and people in their early 30s. The fear is that without a graduate degree they will be left behind, viewed as unqualified, or not have the necessary skills to excel in their field. On the other hand, the high financial cost and large time commitment can appear daunting.
Undergraduate is black and white: without a college degree you are putting yourself at an enormous disadvantage in any D.C.-related field. Graduate school is much more gray. The next five Wednesdays I will post a new podcast and interview focused on graduate school. Each week I sit down with a different successful D.C.-based millennial and ask them the same questions about graduate school. I encourage you to note the similarities and differences in their answers.
